Big
things happening on the new ski trail in the woods along the 7th and
8th fairways this week. After waiting too many days to find a sky in the
cloud, we finally caught the break in the weather to get equipment on
the trail. The Town crew, captained by
Bill Dechene, was able to pull together the equipment and manpower to
turn our stump run into a trail that is now ready for final manicure -
but is totally groom - able! Thanks goes out to the Village of Tupper
Lake for adding an excavator to our equipment list. The volunteers once
again put up a mountain of firewood that will go to heat the Town garage
next winter from Town owned trees. If you're interested in checking out
the new trail, head to the 8th green, and look for the opening to the
East side of the course.
